APRIN Dry Port (ADP) is one of Iran’s most important strategic rail & road transportation center and inland logistics hub, providing integrated rail and road transportation services that connect seaports, industrial zones, manufacturing centers, distribution hubs, and end markets. Strategically located near Tehran—Iran’s largest consumer market and industrial hub—and in close proximity to Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA), ADP serves as a key logistics gateway supporting domestic and international trade flows.

Supported by 7 dedicated rail tracks and an annual handling capacity of 200,000 TEU, ADP plays a vital role in linking Iran’s transportation network with regional and international markets. The terminal is directly connected to Bandar Abbas and the country's major seaports through the national railway network, enabling faster and more efficient cargo movement between southern ports and inland markets.

Rail Transport

Rail transportation is at the core of ADP’s logistics operations. Our rail infrastructure supports the movement of containerized cargo, bulk commodities, industrial products, and general freight with greater efficiency, lower transportation costs, enhanced safety, and reduced environmental impact compared to long-distance road transport.

APRIN provides direct access to domestic and international rail freight networks, creating reliable connections between Iran and key regional markets also-offering rail service connectivity from BND (acting as major sea hub in Iran) to ADP which results is significantly reducing transit time and costs. Through these rail corridors, cargo can be transported with significantly reduced transit times:

• Xi’an (China) to APRIN: 14-20 days
• Koyty (Russia) to APRIN: 10-12 days
• Minsk (Belarus) to APRIN: 10-12 days
• Bandar Abbas to APRIN: Up to 48 hours

These capabilities position ADP as a key logistics node along the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC) and major East-West trade routes, facilitating efficient cargo movement between Iran, China, Russia, Central Asia, and regional markets.

Road Transport

Complementing our rail operations, ADP provides flexible road transportation services to ensure seamless cargo delivery to final destinations. Our road network connects the terminal with industrial parks, warehouses, logistics centers, and commercial markets across Iran, enabling efficient regional and nationwide distribution.

• Mersin (Türkiye) to APRIN: 10-14 days

Road transportation services include full truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL), container transportation, and specialized freight solutions enabling seamsless TIR cargo handeling to facilitate efficiant trade between Europe, Türkiye and Iran, Integrated with ADP’s warehousing, cargo handling, customs clearance, and logistics services, these capabilities support efficient last-mile delivery and end-to-end supply chain management.

Sea Transport

At APRIN Dry Port, sea freight is seamlessly integrated with rail transportation, customs clearance, warehousing, and nationwide distribution. Through direct rail connectivity with Shahid Rajaee Port, cargo can be transported from Bandar Abbas to APRIN by scheduled train. Combined with connections to Iran's Caspian Sea ports and the national railway network, APRIN enables importers, exporters, shipping lines, and logistics providers to reduce transit times and optimize supply chain efficiency across Iran.
